# Payments & Funds Processing

***

## Bank Transfer

We allow for investors to fund an investment through their US based bank accounts for no additional fee. The payment is conducted by an ACH transfer and is processed by Stripe.

There are two options an investor can use to process their bank transfer payment.

1. Connecting to their online bank account via Stripe.
   * This safe, simple, and secure way to fund an investment works by logging in with your online banking credentials and selecting the account you wish to pay with.
2. Manually entering in the bank account details.
   * Please note this option only supports checking accounts.

## Credit Card

We allow for investors to fund an investment by credit card payment for an additional fee. The payment is processed by Stripe. Investors can use cards within the Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express networks. Additionally, alternative credit payment providers such as Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay may be available, depending on various factors.

## Wire

We allow for investors to fund an investment of a certain value or higher by wire transfer for no additional fee. When selecting a wire transfer, Issuance will provide wire instructions on the next page and through an email. Once Issuance has received the wire payment, the investor will need to finalize their investment by signing the [Subscription Agreement](/investor-documentation/investments/creating-an-investment/investor-agreements-and-e-signature.md) for their investment.<br>

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kb.issuance.com/investor-documentation/investments/creating-an-investment/payments-and-funds-processing.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
